BBIA attended and spoke at a breakfast meeting of the Industry and Parliamentary Trust in Westminster on 18 April highlighting
the opportunities for the bioeconomy and the new paradigm following President Biden’s policy announcement in favour of the American bioeconomy in March. Among attendees were MPs Carol Monaghan, Chris Green, Liz Twist, Mark Pawsey, Rachael Maskell, Selaine Saxby, Daniel Zeichner and the Earl of Caithness.
