A wide coalition of UK NGOs delivered a letter to the Prime Minister on 24 April calling for a ban on new incineration plants in England, following Wales and Scotland. BBIA generally supports this request as the increase in UK incineration has evidently led to flat-lined recycling levels over the last decade.
