The programme for the closing meeting of the Res Urbis project has been confirmed, with speakers to include Catia Bastioli, CEO of Novamont, and Andrea Accorigi of the European Commission.

The meeting will take place on 11 December 2019 in Rome and will carry the title ‘Frontiers of European Research: from biodegradable waste to novel materials’.

The Res Urbis project was a three-year project that began on 1 January 2017 with funding from Horizon 2020. The project sought to make possible the conversion of several types of urban bio-waste into valuable bio-based products.
