BASF, which works closely with farmers to improve biodiversity and ensure sustainable crop production, will be running a series of visits to some of its on-farm production and environmental demonstration plots – which have now been conducted in the UK for nearly 20 years. Over the last 10 years its visitors have included NGOs, retailers and policy groups, among others.
BASF is planning visit days on 3,4,5 July at its Northamptonshire site and on 21,24,25, 28 June at its site near Goole, East Yorkshire. Each visit aims to start with coffee before 10.30am on site (transport from stations, etc. can be arranged as requested) and they usually finish with lunch.
If the above dates are unsuitable in the first instance, please let BASF know and they will try and organise another suitable date where their experts are present.
