BBIA members involved in the UKRI financed Compostable Coalition have announced that trials began in March on testing the compostability of 14 tonnes of various compostable products at the Envar facility in Cambridgeshire. Whilst we in the industry have total confidence that these products compost, it is important to demonstrate that time and time again. The outcome will be announced in a few months’ time.
