Chief Executive Officer of Biome Technologies

Paul is CEO of AIM listed sustainable technology business, Biome Technologies Plc. He joined in 2007 and has since taken the breakthrough polymer science from laboratory to commercial operations and built a fast-growing entity focused on the bioplastics market.

With extensive experience of value generation in public market and private equity environments, business turnaround/reorganisation and driving profitable sales growth, Paul also has broad sector exposure spanning chemicals/fine chemicals(ICI, Courtaulds), FMCG manufacturing, electrical equipment and life sciences/biotechnology, with a recent focus on sustainable technologies.

Paul has a firm belief that the development of the UK’s technological and manufacturing industries holds the key to future growth and prosperity, as well as being integral to improved global welfare.

This faith is borne out not only of Paul’s lifestyle choices, but of his extensive commitment to furthering the UK’s wider biotech community. He chairs both the Industrial Biotechnology Leadership Forum (IBLF) and the UKRI’s Bioscience for the Renewable Resources and Clean Growth Strategy Advisory Panel.
