The 12th International Conference on Bio-based Materials brings together innovative companies and experts in the field of bio-based materials to discuss new developments and strategies in bioeconomy.
More than 200 participants and 30 exhibitors are expected at the event in Cologne, which is run by the nova-Institute and will feature five workshops throughout the conference to discuss innovations in the sector.
The conference will also see the awarding of ‘Bio-based Material of the Year’, with six companies nominated by an expert jury and the winner announced at the conference.
BBIA Managing Director David Newman will be speaking in the first session on 15 May about the state of the UK bioeconomy.
There are opportunities to exhibit at the conference, with a booth costing €500, excluding 19 per cent VAT, with the provision of a table, table cloths, a pin board, a chair and a power connection.
