The Natural Materials Association of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining will be holding its first event in Scotland.
This afternoon seminar will be held in the heart of Glasgow and will feature speakers from companies involved in the design and manufacture of products made using natural materials.
Already confirmed are companies involved in optical fashion items, designing buildings and automotive components. We will hear from those who have devoted their research activity to finding out how nature designs and constructs amazingly strong and light structures.
Alongside the seminar, companies and organisations will be showing a variety of products each made using sustainable materials.
Programme starts 12.30pm for light refreshments, speakers commencing at 1.30pm. Speakers finish at 5.30pm with opportunity to network.
