The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), ahead of the Brexit negotiations expected to begin by March, is working with the Department for Exiting the EU (DExEU) to gather evidence on the impact of leaving the EU.
Following work on dispute resolution issues after the UK’s EU exit, the EU Exit Team is now looking for further information and case studies on:
1. What kind of thinking the chemicals sector is giving to the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU);
2. Whether it is important to the sector; and
3. Whether there are examples of where CJEU cases have benefitted UK businesses.
The EU Exit team is seeking information and examples by Thursday 19 January, so asks that anyone with relevant experience of dispute resolution in the EU for views on the above topics gets in touch with the team.
