The Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics has produced the 5th edition of the ‘Global Climate Legislation Study’, reviewing the climate change legislation in 99 countries.

Together, the study countries, including 46 of the top 50 emitters, produce 93 per cent of world emissions and are home to 90 per cent of the world’s forests. Since 1997 in these countries, the number of climate change laws and policies has doubled every year.
